This will include information about each of the courses, entry requirements, tuition fees and other funding that can be applied for within the university.

Careers fairs provide you with the chance to meet employers face-to-face, to learn about current vacancies and opportunities available, and to market yourself to prospective employers or higher institutes of education you may wish to attend. An open day is a great opportunity for students to uncover all the information they want to know about the courses available within the university. Also open days offer students a great opportunity to walk around the university and see firsthand the campus, student accommodation and travel routes.

Open days also give a great feel for the city that the university is based in, as many universities are situated closed to the city centers.

Social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook will have all the latest information and events going on within the university. Social media also offers the chance to get in contact with fellow students and maybe make a few friendships before starting at university.
