Undergraduate courses - UCAS - Points

The UCAS point system has changed for 2016/2017 entry. You will see the change on university literature and websites. The majority of universities will place the UCAS tariff point under entry requirements with any other specific entry requirements for that course.

The team at ER&M encourages students to convert their grades into UCAS tariff points before they submit their application. This can be done by using your grades if you have already completed your studies or with predicted grades. We ask students to do this as they may not meet the entry requirements and therefore unlikely to receive an offer from a university. For reference, the current tariff table is shown below:

GCE AS-Level A-Level UCAS Points
A* 56
24 A 48
20 B 40
16 C 32
12 D 24
8 E 16

If you are unsure how to work out your grades into UCAS tariff points a member of our team can help you.
