St. Mary’s School was established in 1850 by the Catholic Poor Committee. In the 1970’s the school was moved to its present site at Masbro Road following a fire. With this move, we became a co-educational school. The school remains in the parish of Holy Trinity, Brook Green and we continue to serve our local Catholic community.
St Mary’s is a one-form entry school admitting 30 pupils to each age group. We have a fulltime Nursery and our children range in age from 3 to 11.
We serve our local Catholic community and the school is maintained jointly by the Diocese of Westminster and the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
St. Mary's Catholic Primary School
We are a thriving Catholic community in the heart of Brook Green with children from Nursery to Year 6. We are a part of the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham as well as the Diocese of Westminster.
Our Mission statement is ‘The family of St Mary’s School strives to grow in God’s love and care by learning together and valuing the uniqueness of each person’ and we teach and live by this value.
We have an emphasis on inclusion within our school with each child being given opportunities to develop the talents they have been given by God, to their full potential. We place great importance on developing the ‘whole’ child. Academic achievement is important, but we also strive to ensure that children develop physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually to become responsible, well-adjusted individuals.
Our close links with the parish of The Holy Trinity are something we are proud of and help us to support our children with their faith development.
